Based in the Yvelines, Asmodee started in 1998 like many publishers: around passion and a group of friends.

In 2010, Abalone, a famous strategy game made in France, and Dobble entered the Asmodee catalog. More than 26 million Dobbles will be sold in 10 years.

A strong international expansion will follow as well as a series of acquisitions which will grow Asmodee's catalog with the most popular games and brands including Pokémon, Abalone, Dobble and finally in 2021 with the acquisition of Plan B, publisher of the legendary Azul.
