In 1947, the Dujardin company was created by Edmond Dujardin, a publisher of equipment for driving schools in Arcachon. He develops the game "L'autoroute" which will be reworked in 1954 to become the "Mille Bornes", a name inspired by the National 7, which was about 1000 km long.
In 1965, Le Mille Bornes set out to conquer Canada and the United States, where it met with great success. European countries such as Spain and Germany will also be conquered very quickly. Currently, the Mille Bornes is sold throughout the world.
