It was in 1949 that the spouses Theo and Maria Klein created a brush and broom business in the main street of the village of Ramberg, in the Palatinate Forest.
Ramberg is a village that relies on a bicentenary tradition of manufacturing brushes and brooms.
Nowadays, a museum is entirely devoted to the art and tradition of the manufacture of brushes and brooms.
In 1956, the company Theo Klein brought the first children's color brooms with synthetic bristles onto the market.
In 1959, the company exhibited for the first time at the Nuremberg Toy Fair with a collection of three items (children's broom, brush and small metal shovel). The success of this event pushes her to change and enter the toy industry.
Claus-Dieter Klein, the eldest son of Theo and Maria Klein, came to work in the company and support his parents in 1968. He obtained his engineering degree in economics in 1975 and entered the company permanently.
As of 2005, the company signs several contracts for licensed products:
* Barbie , Bosch Service , Brown , Electrolux , Hot Wheels , John Deere , Leifheit , Miele , Victorinox , Vileda , Villeroy & Boch , Volvo , Weber and WMF .
In addition to its licensed products, Theo Klein's team creates its own brand and achieves great success.
Today, this family business located on the southern German wine route, is active worldwide. For more than 70 years, it has charmed its customers with the quality and high educational value of its toys.
