Yvan is a much more imposing rhino than the rhinos his age. Despite this, he feels light as air, because he is in love with Gaëlle. While she invites him to her birthday, Yvan is concerned about his appearance. Will he succeed in winning her heart despite his difference?
Yvan the Giant is a sweet story that allows us to discuss the acceptance of body diversity and disabilities with young people.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After her university studies in literature and communications, Zoé Boudreau worked in television production in Montreal. A multidisciplinary artist and singer-songwriter with a mind teeming with ideas, she photographs, sings, writes and illustrates at the same time. After writing two children's novels, she once again addresses a younger audience with Yvan the Giant, her second illustrated album.
